When I (Hamilton) was relocating from the United States I hired a known visa consultancy in Prague. I wanted a visa to start a business here. They said that isn’t possible and I had to get an English teaching certification to obtain a visa. I later found out this is not true, but I spent 28 days in a hot room with no air conditioning for 12 hours a day to get a teaching certification I had no intention of using!

I had pre-paid for an apartment for a year in advance, I had a car and all my personal belongings on a ship coming across the ocean and I felt helpless!
